On 19 April, selected HR management and TopSeC students had a chance to visit the headquarters of on of the faculty's significant partners, Vienna Insurance Group
After a warm welcome by Dieter Pscheidl, Head of VIG European Affairs, and Angela Fleischlig-Tangl from VIG Human Resources team, Masaryk University students and staff were tested by insurance business game led by Dietmar Kremnitzer. The stakes were high, but all groups managed to survive two fiscal years. During an informal lunch, there was time for discussion with several VIG employees working in different departments of this international company. Everyone also admired the magnificent view from the 20th-floor lounge.
The expert part was followed by a city walk kindly led by Johannes Göllner and a visit to Leopold Museum and its fascinating exhibition of secession art sponsored by VIG.
The Faculty of Economics and Administration at Masaryk University is celebrating 35 years since its founding. Since 1991, it has undergone dynamic development, establishing itself as a respected educational and research institution both in the Czech Republic and abroad.
