ECON MUNI is establishing the position of Vice-Dean for Educational Innovation and Study Programmes Development. This step reflects the growing importance and complexity of systematically managing educational quality and the strategic development of study programmes.
Professor Martin Kvizda has been appointed to the new position of Vice-Dean at ECON MUNI. He will be responsible for the overall concept and development of educational activities within the faculty’s bachelor's and follow-up master's degree programmes. His primary focus will be on creating a common faculty foundation for bachelor's degree programmes, enhancing teaching within accredited study programmes, and promoting educational innovation. He will also collaborate with the Faculty’s Community of Active Teachers. His responsibilities will further include evaluating and proposing measures to ensure the economic sustainability and efficiency of the faculty’s study programmes.
The establishment of this position is part of ECON MUNI’s ongoing efforts to further strengthen the quality of education. Through this initiative, the faculty is creating greater capacity for the systematic management of its programme portfolio and for deeper integration between strategic governance, students’ needs, and the expectations of both the academic and professional communities.
As Professor Kvizda stated, his immediate priority in the new role will be to prepare the bachelor's and master's degree programmes for accreditation in a manner that ensures their long-term sustainability in terms of content, staffing, and financial viability.
