Research Interests

The dominant area of my research is the area of local economic development with an emphasis on financing and property, which are among the important endogenous factors of economic development of the area. Within the scope of funding, the subject of research is primarily the assessment of financial impacts on the management of territorial units at the local and regional level. Analyses of financial management focus on the structure of individual components of local and regional budgets and the impact of legislative and economic changes by the state on their financial management. In research of local and regional property, I focuse primarily on its structure and its overall efficiency of use. The subject of research is also the application of methods through which the efficiency and quality of public services are evaluated. Theoretical and scientific knowledge are used not only in solving scientific projects, but there is also a connection between theory and practice, e.g. in the creation of medium-term development plans of municipalities and micro-regions - Economic and regional development program, integrated local and regional development strategies, etc.
