Who is the admission procedure for?

Only an applicant who has been granted temporary protection in the Czech Republic according to the provisions of Sections 2 and 3 of Act No. 65/2022 Coll. may apply for a special admission procedure. You can apply even if you are still a student of a university in Ukraine. You will be able to continue your studies at the Faculty of Economics and Administration.

What can you start studying?

If you wish to study in English language, you can choose from two bachelor’s or two follow-up master‘ study programmes. However, be aware that the number of available places in English programmes is very limited. See the offer below:

If you wish to study in Czech language, you can choose from seven bachelor’s or six follow-up master‘s study programmes:

What are the conditions of the admission procedure?

In order to be included in the admission procedure to programs with instruction in the English language, you need to:

  1. Set up an online application here
  2. Upload a scan of a travel document or other document with a visa sticker or record of temporary protection obtained in the Czech Republic
  3. Upload a scan of an educational document (in Czech or English) or a statutory declaration proving completion of high school education (for bachelor's degree programmes) or of at least bachelor's degree education (for follow-up master's programmes)
  4. Fill in the motivation letter section in the application. The applicant will answer the set questions directly in the application. The language of the motivation is English and the maximum recommended length is 2000 characters.
  5. Upload a confirmation of your language competence in a form of:

• TOEFL – 550 points (paper-based test), or 213 points (computer-based test), or 79 points (internet-based test),
• IELTS – Overall Band Score 6.5 and higher (academic test),
• CAE – grade A or B,
• CPE – grade A, B or C,
• or other internationally recognized certificate with a result equivalent to the required level of the exams above.

In the admission procedure, the Faculty of Economics and Administration will only accept applications from candidates who prove that they meet the criteria set out above. Applications that do not meet the required criteria will not be included in the admission procedure.

Where can I submit my e-application?

The application is completely online. You can set it up here.

Can I submit more than one application?

Only one application can be submitted within the special run "Admission Procedure for Ukrainian Students in Need".

When will I know the result of the admission procedure?

You will receive information on whether you are accepted to study within approximately 14 days after the application deadline, ie during the month of June. You will find the result in your e-application.

What can I do before entering full-time study mode?

If your application meets all the requirements, you will be directed to a placement test in the Czech language in cooperation with the Language Education Center. Based on the result, you will be offered an intensive Czech language course of the appropriate level.
