Scholarship

Doctoral students can engage in some activities to obtain scholarships. First of all, you can be part of specific research projects where you will not only be rewarded for your work, but you will also receive expert and material assistance to create your dissertation. The Faculty of Economics and Administration also announces scholarship programs from which you can receive rewards for publications or you can receive financial support for attending at conferences and summer schools as well as for foreign internships. Last but not least, you will also get an extraordinary scholarship, which is a reward for taking care of your dissertation in time and in sufficient quality. The advantage of the scholarship is that they are not taxed and you do not need to pay social and health insurance from this amount.

If the quality of gain dissertations work has been proved and we are happy with your work, we can offer you a part-time academic or a part-time job on a research or development project. In addition, you can submit your own project applications to external research programs ( in co-operation with the supervisor) and, if successful, you will get some funds.

As a full-time student, you are also eligible for a meal allowance in canteens at Masaryk University, and the University offers students, that do not have the permanent residence in Brno,  the opportunity to be accommodated in dormitories at an affordable price. When you choose to study the programme in the English track, you need to pay tuition fees ( 1,200 EUR per academic year) .

Tuition fee for the first year of studies is payable at the beginning of the semester. Students will obtain detailed information on the method of payment along with the contract.
