Every PhD student should complete the Final State Examination by the end of the fourth semester.

How does the Final State Examination look like?

The Final State Examination checks the theoretical and methodological knowledge related to Regional Economics. The aim of the examination is to prove whether is student ready for independent scientific activity in the given field.

Together with the application for Final State Examination, the student also presents an essay of dissertation work in the range of 25-30 pages of text.
