Before submitting your application in the Regional Economics program, you must choose the topic of your thesis. You will focus on this topic during the whole study. If done you should contact a potential supervisor to talk about the possibilities of the cooperation. Part of your application is a written essay ranging from 8 to 12 pages on the relevance of the chosen topic for the doctoral thesis, the objective of your study, the research questions, research methodology, anticipated results and their competence.
Do not forget: The topic of your doctoral thesis will have to be interesting for you and you must enjoy working on it. You need to know why it is important and worth dedicating.
