The Department of Public Economy currently offers several specialisations within the Economic Policy and Administration study programme. The specialisations enable graduates to find jobs based on their individual interests, offering them a wide range of opportunities, especially in parts of the economy connected with redistribution processes and the regulatory function of a modern democratic state. Typically, these positions can be found in the sphere of public finance, state administration and self-government, as well as in the ever-growing sector of both public and private non-profit organisations. We teach our students to combine practical skills and deep knowledge of the essence as well as links between economic and social phenomena while respecting people, law and order.
