Gender equality in academia

Gender equality in academia is increasingly discussed. If you feel like you don't know what it involves and what challenges need to be faced, we recommend watching a series of short informative videos recently published by the Nora Gender Information Centre on its YouTube channel.

In these videos, you will learn more about gender bias against women in a concise and understandable way, and introduce you to concepts such as equal opportunities, gender, discriminatory behaviour or sexual harassment in the academic environment. You will get practical advice on how to behave when encountering sexual harassment or how to use gender-balanced language. Special attention is also paid to the gender dimension in the content of research and economic violence in the context of work-life balance. Each video is 2-3 minutes long.
