Finishing Your Studies
nAfter successfully finishing your studies you will be granted  academic title Ing. – equivalent of
Master Degree (M.A.)

nYour studies will be officially concluded by final state exam.

nThe state exam is oral and has three parts:
nEconomics (Micro + Macro)
nDefense of diploma thesis
nSubject of specialization

nTotal of 120 ECTS

nA credits – a „must-do“ courses
nB credits – electives (specializations)
nC credits – free electives (up to 120 ECTS)

Diploma thesis
nfinal written paper
ndiploma thesis is written according to official assignment of the thesis,  which is awarded by the
Dean of the Faculty.
nyou work on the paper under the guidance of your diploma thesis tutor, always from the department
that guarantees your specialization.

Working on your diploma thesis
nthe work on your diploma thesis is conducted individually under the guidance of your tutor.
nis awarded by credit points, officially through Diploma Seminar.
ncredits are awarded by the tutor.

ncontact your tutor after you had enrolled for the topic. You will obtain detailed information
regarding your co-operation over the thesis.

Important Deadlines
nchoosing the topic and enrolling through IS
ncomposing an official assignment (deadline for tutors)
nofficial assignment will be available at International Relations Office after they will have been
signed by the Dean.
