In the scope of issues covered by the field “Economic Policy”, the studies focus on applied economic policy coming from the standard economic theory (the quantitative analytical dimension is weakened for the benefit of the historical and political context). On the other hand, in the scope of issues covered by the field “International Relations”, the studies concentrate on international political economy supplemented by theories and history of international relations (the security and strategic dimension is weakened for the benefit of the economic dimension of international relations). Attention is also paid to the economic history and the history of international relations, economic theory and theory of international relations, economic geography and geopolitics, as well as economic policy and international political economy. Besides the amount of optional subjects that students have to choose from, they also have a wide choice of other optional subjects from both the participating faculties. The field is ideal for graduates of the Bachelor’s program combining Economic Policy and International Relations, and it is available to all graduates of Bachelor’s study programs in economic fields and political sciences.
