Scholarship Opportunities

Foreign students admitted into Master’s degree programmes can take advantage of a number of scholarship programmes offered by various sponsoring bodies. It is each student’s responsibility to find such a programme, however, bellow you can find some good tips:

Erasmus Mundus Action 2

  • http://czs.muni.cz/…usmundus-ecw – is a cooperation and mobility programme in the field of higher education that aims to enhance the quality of European higher education. Masaryk University is a member of four consortia:
    1. Jordan, Lebanon, Syria (the Middle East)
    2. Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, Macedonia, Serbia (the Western Balkans)
    3. Sri Lanka, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Maldives, Philippines, Thailand, China, North Korea (Asia)
    4. South Africa

International Visegrad Fund

  • http://visegradfund.org/scholarships/ – offers scholarships for studies in the countries of the Visegrad Group (Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia) to citizens of the following countries: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Georgia, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Russia and Serbia (Kosovar scholars are eligible, as well), as well as the countries of the Visegrad Group.

    The deadline for submitting the applications is January 31, 2011.

Rotary Club

  • http://www.rotary.org/…default.aspx – through Rotary Club programs, young people can earn scholarships, travel on cultural exchanges, or help a community through a service project.

Czech Ministry of Education
