Information System

Information System of Masaryk University (IS MU)

This unique information system was created in 1999 and throughout the years it has developed into an application used by more than 30.000 users a day visiting more than 2.500.000 pages.
The students can easily manage their inter-faculty studies, school-related data and e-learning application, create their own study plans, and schedule their credit-winning activities.
All university students, teachers or employees have their own personal account in the information system, including e-mail, web space and access to numerous applications and data.
Being enrolled into the studies of MU, students get unique university number (UČO) and an automatically generated primary password. Having created the secondary password in the IS, the student can start using the library, Wi-Fi net, public computers and other facilities.

You can choose from many IS applications depending on your needs. To make your start with the IS smooth, we have created a manual which helps you get started and work with the application effectively.
