Graduate profile

Graduate profile reflects a comprehensive range of general, expert and specific knowledge and skills gradually acquired over the period of the scientific postgraduate studies. The profile predetermines the graduates' eligibility to work in the field of finance. Graduates will have profound and extensive knowledge of the scheme of financial and economic science, they will display the quality of being independent, enterprising, creative, systematic, and able to adopt a systematic approach in the field of financial markets, accounting, banking, insurance, corporate finance and taxes.

Graduate Employment

Upon completing their doctoral studies, graduates will be able to conduct independent scientific research in the field of finance or become highly qualified for holding positions in the area of:

• determination of accounting methods and taxes inclusive of legislation amendment motions,
• prescript of managerial methods for banks and insurance companies, management procedure optimisation in financial institutions, specification of risk management procedures, credit rating of financial institutions,
• financial security analysis, capital and financial market analysis, consultancy in adopting optimum financial and investment strategies, methods for analysing foreign exchange markets and derivative instruments,
• corporate financial management procedures, business and financial risks hedging, framing of an optimum corporate investment and financial strategy.

Doctoral graduates are also fully eligible for involvement in research and tuition.
