The key function of the Office for Research and Development is to create environment for continuous growth of competitiveness of the Faculty, maximally using the potential of multi-source funding in support of its development activities, involving a wide range of partners from both public and private sectors in the education and scientific-research processes.
Within its individual activities, the Office for Research and Development ensures the strategy for planning and long-term development of the Faculty, including administrative project support. Its competencies include initiation, preparation, support, co-ordination and evaluation of projects focusing on development (MEYS, framework programmes, operational programmes, etc.). Another important sphere of activities is development and co-ordination of non-accredited educational activities – special LLL programmes, corporate courses, training, partnership study programmes.
From methodological point of view, it is managed by the vice-dean for strategy and development (doc. RNDr. Jiří Vystoupil, CSc.).
