The Faculty of Economics and Administration (ESF)

Faculty library

Exchange students have full access to services provided by the library. Please note that to become a regular library user, you need to fill in a registration form at the circulation desk in the library first.

In order to be able to make reservations, prolong your loan or just to view your loan account, you need to sign in the library catalogue website using your UCO as login and your secondary password for verification.

Faculty computers

Exchange students have also access to computer labs at the faculty – VT1 and VT3.
You will find these on the third floor (the left wing of the building). 

• Opening hours during the semester

  Monday – Friday: 8 a.m. – 20 p.m.

  Saturday, Sunday: 8 a.m. – 19 p.m.

  holidays: closed

To log on the computers in the computer labs, you will need to enter faculty password (i.e. yet another password apart from your primary and secondary passwords). You will get this one at the Office for International Relations. A guide on how to set up a LAN wireless Internet connection on your notebook (to be used in faculty building) can be downloaded here

Catering

MU students and employees can buy their meals through their catering account and a valid ID card (ISIC card). The card is activated by depositing money on your canteen account, at any cash counter of the catering services.

The canteens near the Faculty of Economics and Administration:

1. The ESF Cafeteria

• Situated in the building of the Faculty of Economis and Administration. Cafeteria offers a wide range of goods, cold cuisine, hot and cold drinks, meals. Find more information here.

2. The Vinařská Canteen

• The Vinařská Canteen is on the premises of the Vinařská Hall near the Trade Fairs Brno ground and the Faculty of Economics and Administration. The canteen offers 5 different meals (meat/non-meat meals, soup, desserts, salads, fruit). You can order meals in advance with your student card. More information can be found here.

3. The Vinařská Cafeteria
