Tutoring

The tutor programme (called also the „buddy system“) was one of the main reason for establishing ISC. It consists of creating a pair of one Czech and one foreign student. The main purpose is to give a helping hand to incoming students as well as the cultural and linguistic exchange and of course to make good friends.

Czech tutors („buddies“) are supposed to pick up their foreign buddies upon arrival in Brno, to take them to their accommodation and to help them with different formalities. They provide assistance to their buddies during the whole stay in Brno.

The enrollment into this programme is automatic for students coming to Brno through Erasmus/Socrates Exchange Programme, CESP, TESOL TE, CELTA, the ISEP Exchange Programme and students coming to Masaryk University through bilateral agreements programme. Another foerign students have to send an email to International Student Club to be enrolled!
