2^nd International PhD Students Conference – New Economic Challenges

Under the Auspices of the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administration of Masaryk University

The two-day conference served as a forum for presenting research papers and gave PhD students also the opportunity to network. Admission decision was based on the structured abstract sent in advance. Each participant had 20 minutes to present his/her paper, question-and-answer period of 10 minutes followed right after the presentation.

Keynote speeches were given by prominent academic figures and other experts, who participated also in individual sections.

Conference participants were encouraged to submit their papers for peer review process in the journal: Review of Economic Perspectives

The conference was divided in following sections

1. Financial Markets – Theory and Practice
2. Accounting and Taxation of Profit and Non-profit Sector
3. Regional Development and Administration – Theory and Practice
4. Development of Public Sector – Theory and Practice
5. Economic Theory, Economic Policy and Economic History
6. Business Economics, Management and Marketing
